FLOWERS INSIDE ME

The series “Flowers inside me” is astonishing, where flowers reveal the inner being of the portraits and seem to feed on the human faces – which are often masculine – that are frames of lush effects, sometimes denying any recognisability of the individual. A kind of desirable and desiring still-life, where foreground and background merge in a multitude of petals, corollas and leaves. These floral portraits move through planetary spaces, or colourful nebulas, where we can glimpse stars. Always on the boundary between happiness and confusion. A spontaneous project with unlimited possibilities that recalls through flowers the most important moments of a person’s life: birth, love and (inevitably) death.
